Magnolia Motor Speedway is the Place to Be this Weekend

COLUMBUS, Miss. (09/15/25) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) invades Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19 – 20 for the $20,000-to-win Cotton Pickin’.

The weekend also opens with a Practice Session on Thursday, Sept. 18.

While Morgan Bagley and B.J. Robinson became the 13th and 14th different winners in series action over the course of last weekend, it’s still Billy Moyer who holds the distinction of being the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man atop the series standings. The National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer holds a 275-point advantage over Morgan Bagley with B.J. Robinson, Eli Ross, Kyle Beard, Jon Mitchell, Clay Stuckey, Jon Kirby, Charlie Cole, and Shane Stephens completing the Top 10 in the latest standings.

Eli Ross leads the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle.

Now the CCSDS championship battle rolls into Magnolia Motor Speedway for the 2025 edition of the Cotton Pickin’ 100. Following an Open Practice Session on Thursday, September 18, qualifying and heat races will be held for the CCSDS contingent on Friday, September 19. A full complement of local division action joins the night’s action.

On Saturday, September 20 the night begins with b-mains for the CCSDS entries followed by the $20,000-to-win feature. Once again a full slate of local division will also be part of the action.

In 2024 it was California’s Ethan Dotson who banked the mega win.
