COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS)
CCSDS Ready for Ron Jenkins Memorial and Rex McCroskey Memorial
Three-Race Weekend Swing Includes Lucas Oil Speedway and Springfield Raceway
CONWAY, Ark. (08/26/25) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctions the 11th annual Ron Jenkins Memorial this Friday and Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) before rolling into Springfield (Mo.) Raceway for the inaugural Rex McCroskey Memorial on Sunday night.
The racing program on Friday, August 29 will find a $7,000-to-win feature with a $2,000 bonus, and another $500 bonus for fast qualifier, courtesy of Mary Jenkins Holt in honor of the late Ron Jenkins, builder of the original Wheatland Raceway. The Hickamo Super Stocks will also be in action as the drivers battle for $500-to-win with the Show Me Vintage Racers also in action.
On Saturday, August 30 the COMP Cams Super Late Models will battle it out in a $12,000-to-win feature with Mary Jenkins Holt again adding a $2,000 bonus to the winner and a $500 fast-time qualifier bonus. The Hickamo Super Stocks will race for a $750 top prize and Craig Danuser of Whitetail trophy hunt has put up an additional $250 bonus money to make it $1,000 to win for the Super Stocks. The Show Me Vintage Racers join the night’s action again.
The inaugural Rex McCroskey Memorial presented by Collins Property Management takes center stage on Sunday, August 31 at Springfield (Mo.) Raceway, and posts a $6,064 winner’s check for the CCSDS contingent. McCroskey won over 800 features in his career and was a two-time Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) Champion.
The All Trailer Services B-Mods, Indigo Sky Casino Midwest Modz, Wheeler Metals Legends, Pepsi Pure Stocks, Guffey Services Heating & Cooling Mini Stock / FWD, and All Metal Recycling Bombers will all be in action on Sunday evening.
Billy Moyer is the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man with a 135-point lead atop the series standings over Morgan Bagley. B.J. Robinson, Eli Ross, Kyle Beard, Jon Mitchell, Timothy Culp, Jon Kirby, Charlie Cole, and Clay Stuckey round out the current Top 10 in the standings.
Eli Ross is the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year point leader.
On Friday and Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway, the pit and spectator gates open at 4 p.m. CT both days with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:05.
On Sunday evening at Springfield Raceway the pit gate opens at 2 p.m. CT with the grandstands opening at 4 p.m., and on-track action at 4:30 p.m.
