Conway, Arkansas (09/01/20) – While the upcoming weekend for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil has been altered by Mother Nature, the tour still has two big races on the schedule for the holiday swing.

First, let’s spell out the bad news. The program scheduled for Thursday, September 3 at Mooney Starr’s Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) has been rained out and rescheduled for Thursday, October 1. The program consists solely of the feature that was postponed by Mother Nature on July 31. Neil Baggett and Timothy Culp will bring the field to the green flag for the finale, when action resumes in October.

Additionally, the opener for the Labor Day Classic at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas), which was set for Friday, September 4, has been canceled due to saturated grounds at the facility. The event will not be rescheduled.

The CCSDS kicks off what will now be a two-race, Labor Day Classic weekend on Saturday, September 5 to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) with a $3,000-to-win / $400-to-start program. 604 Late Models, 602 Sportsman, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and Hot Shots all join the night’s program.

The pit gate opens at 3:00 p.m. with the spectator gate opens at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. with racing action to follow.

Adult grandstand is $20 with senior citizens and military are $16 with kids (ages 7-12) $20 and kids (6-and-under) free. Adult pit admission is $35 with kids (ages 7-12) $20 with kids (6-and-under) free.

The weekend concluded on Sunday, September 6 at Johnny Stokes’ Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) with a final $3,000-to-win / $400-to-start program as the Labor Day Classic draws to a close. Crate Racin’ USA Late Models, Three Star Tire and Auto Street Stocks, Ranch House Diner Factory Stocks, Glenn’s BBQ and Fish Late Model Sportsman, The Eaton Clinic Modified Sportsman and Hots Shots will also join the night’s action.

The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. with racing action at 7:00 p.m. The pit gate will open at 3:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 5:00 p.m.

Adult grandstand admission is $20 with Kids (ages 10 and under) free with an adult. Pit admission for adults is $35 with Kids (ages 6-10) $25 and children (ages 5 and under) free with an adult.
